Teaching and Learning Materials
Most public primary schools in Nigeria do not have adequate and cutting-edge instructional materials. They do not have whiteboards, markers, required textbooks, libraries, audio and visual learning aids. Many school children do not also have required school kits including school uniforms, books and other home study aids. Lack of appropriate instructional materials makes teaching difficult, demoralizes the teacher and reduces zeal. It makes learning uninteresting for the kids and kills excitement.
To improve teaching quality and learning outcome, there is urgent need to equip primary schools with appropriate instructional and learning materials including libraries.
There is also need to equip the children with the appropriate school kits such as notebooks, pens, pencils, UBEC recommends all these.
C-EDU partners with donors to:
- Provide cutting edge instructional materials and learning kits
- Donate complete school kit to kids from poor homes.
Back to School Initiative
This initiative is focused on providing essential school supplies that enable students to succeed.
