Primary School classroom
Classrooms That Inspire Learning
A child’s learning environment matters. But in many primary schools across Nigeria, especially in rural areas, classrooms are in heartbreaking condition.
Some have no roofs. Others have broken windows, cracked floors, or no chairs at all. Many children sit on bare floors, trying to learn in spaces that are dark, stuffy, and falling apart. And in far too many cases, children are forced to learn outside, under trees, exposed to distractions, and discomfort. It’s no surprise that many stay away—or struggle to focus when they do show up.
At C-EDU, we believe that every child deserves a classroom that inspires, not discourages

Our Solution: Build Better, Learn Better
We’re working with partners and donors to renovate and build modern, solar-powered classrooms that meet the standards recommended by UBEC:
- At least six classrooms per school, each seating 40 pupils
- Ceiled, paved, and well-ventilated spaces with fans and natural lighting
- Two doors and five windows for safety and airflow
- Forty desks and chairs in every classroom—because no child should have to learn on the floor
Why It Matters
When children learn in bright, safe classrooms, something changes. A well-equipped classroom does more than hold lessons—it lifts spirits and sparks dreams.
