Rev. Fr. Dr. Godswill Agbagwa Honored with Award of Excellence, Named AFED Patron.
Owerri, Nigeria – May 29, 202
CSAAE received national recognition at the 2025 Biannual Congress of the Association for Formidable Educational Development (AFED), where Executive Director Rev. Fr. Dr. Godswill Agbagwa was honored with an Award of Excellence and officially inducted as a Patron of AFED.
Held at Government College, Owerri, the congress marked AFED’s 25th national anniversary and the 4th anniversary of its Imo State chapter. Under the theme “Building a Brighter Future Through Education,” the event convened hundreds of education stakeholders to reflect on Nigeria’s educational challenges and chart a course for reform.

Representing CSAAE at the event were Education Coordinator Blessing Bodunde and Communications Officer Mr. Modestus C. Anunwa. In her address on behalf of Rev. Fr. Agbagwa, Bodunde highlighted CSAAE’s dedication to equitable, inclusive, and sustainable education through C-EDU’s innovative eight-pillar model, which spans areas such as school safety, Teaching and learning materials, ICT & digital learning, WASH facilities, and teacher development.
The award recognized Rev. Fr. Agbagwa’s unwavering commitment to grassroots educational development, particularly in rural and underserved communities where CSAAE continues to transform schools into safe and resourceful learning environments.
“This is not just a recognition—it’s a rallying call,” Bodunde said. “Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities and ensure no child is left behind.”
The congress also featured academic sessions led by distinguished scholars who examined the philosophical and practical dimensions of building a brighter educational future.
As CSAAE marks this milestone, it remains committed to partnering with AFED and other stakeholders to strengthen Nigeria’s educational ecosystem—one school and one child at a time.
